Yoav Prokofyev, an independent musician and artist, operates https://yoav.pro (the “Site”). This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used and your rights, in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations (including Amendment 13), the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742-1982 (Section 30A), and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
1. Providing data
You are not legally required to provide personal data. Using the contact form or subscribing to the newsletter requires your name and email (a message is optional). Required fields are marked. If you provide a third party’s details, you confirm you have their consent.
2. Data collected while using the Site
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referrer.
- Cookies — only according to your choice in the cookie banner (see the Cookie Policy).
- Embedded YouTube videos load only after you accept marketing cookies.
3. Purposes
- replying to messages sent through the Site;
- sending a newsletter about music, shows and new releases — only with your explicit opt-in consent (an unticked checkbox), per Section 30A of the Communications Law. Every mailing includes an unsubscribe option (link, or email botoved@gmail.com);
- operating, securing and improving the Site;
- legal compliance.
Legal bases (GDPR): consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies), legitimate interest (replying to enquiries, security), legal obligation.
4. Sharing with third parties
Data is never sold. It is shared only with:
– processors acting for us: HubSpot (CRM and newsletter, EU data centre — HubSpot Ireland Ltd., Dublin), the Site’s hosting provider, Google/YouTube (embedded content);
– courts or competent authorities when legally required;
– in a legal dispute between you and the Site operator;
– to prevent serious harm to a person or property;
– with your explicit consent.
5. Storage location and international transfers
Data may be stored with hosting and backup providers outside Israel, notably HubSpot’s EU data centre (GDPR standard). Transfers comply with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001.
6. Security
Reasonable measures are applied (HTTPS, restricted access, reputable providers); no system is completely secure.
7. Retention
Enquiry data is kept as long as needed to respond; newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Data is then deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
You may access, correct or delete data about you, withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time (Protection of Privacy Law §§13–14, 17F; Communications Law §30A; GDPR rights where applicable, including complaint to a supervisory authority / the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority). If you receive no response within 30 days you may apply to court as provided by the regulations.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated; material changes will be posted on the Site.
