Dark Wave Gospel · DWG
Dark Wave Gospel (DWG) is not a style you hold in your hands. It is a direction you enter.
The intention here is simple and still: the call goes upward. Not to oneself. Not to those who listen. To what is above. A song is an attempt to speak toward the place from which no answer usually comes aloud. And what comes back, a person does not invent. It is received from above and passed through, onward, to others. The one who sings remains a quiet place of passage. A vessel, through which moves what is not his own.
The direction does not change. It is always one: upward. But the form can be anything. Now it sounds as heavy drones and choral voices rising through them. As a cinematic space that holds both shadow and light. As a rhythm that remembers something ancient. But that is only how it sounds now. Others may bring their own forms: other voices, other instruments, another density, another silence. The style does not guard the sound. It guards only where it is turned and where it comes from.
So different musicians and different ways can live here. One thing stays the same: the call upward, and what is received from above and handed on to people. Not someone’s private music. Music that passes through.
You can join this.
The form is open. The direction is one.
